Overview
CALBAMOLD and CALBAMOLD BARA (Si series in-mold inoculants) are in-mold inoculants used in common cast iron and ductile iron.
Characteristics
Placing it in the mold. Using it in ordinary cast iron can prevent chill, improve the structure, and prevent the sensitivity of the thick wall; using it in ductile iron can decrese chill maximamly, increase the number of graphite balls and have a significant effect on cast ferrite. When the laddle is opened quickly, it also has a great effect on ferritiszation.
When processing large castings, it is necessary to use a pouring basin.
Usage
A reaction chamber is required at the taphole or at the site where inoculation is to be performed.
